Being in Service to Potential Clients: The Earth Element

ezine07-30-2014

Many Coaches and Holistic Practitioners lose clients because they over-give or under-give.

It’s a big question. Some say that you should wait to give valuable information to potential clients until they are paying you. But the problem is that it’s hard for them to trust that they’ll get tremendous value from you if they haven’t had a taste of what you offer.

Others give away so much free stuff that their clients have no need for their paid services.

We’ve discovered that there is a sweet spot in between over-giving and under-giving.
And our clients who have found this sweet spot are the ones who are making Six Figures in their business.

In today’s video, you’ll discover how to find this sweet spot. Hint: It’s all about the Earth Element. We’ll teach you how to have conversations with your potential clients where you are being in service. Your potential clients will feel great about the conversation and they will often say yes to your services.

Whether you find yourself giving too much away when you’re talking with a potential client or you feel like you’re holding back, you’ll enjoy this video on how to use the Earth Element to better serve your potential clients.

What does being in service really mean?

And how can YOU use the Earth Element in your conversations with potential clients so they feel served and ready to say YES.

How To Connect With Potential Clients: The Fire Element

Thrive Academy Blog July 23, 2014

Do you ever not know what to say when you meet someone new?

Especially at a networking event...

Sure...you can ask, “What do you do?”

But if you’ve ever felt shy, nervous or insecure at a party, live event, networking event (or anywhere where the intention is to mingle), you’re really going to love this video, where you’ll discover some of our secrets for how to connect with potential clients.

Some people think that just because we’ve become so successful, that we never experienced the frustration of not knowing how to attract the right clients.

But this isn’t the case… 12 years ago, when I (Sharla) first started my acupuncture and coaching business and went to events where the intention was to connect with potential clients, I always thought, “I must be the youngest and most inexperienced person here.”  This was a nerve-wracking experience.

Can you relate?

It feels great to be on the other side of this, now that I’ve got the confidence and credibility I was missing back then.

And even if you feel confident about your work, being in situations where you’re meeting new people may still feel like a challenge.

This is why I made this short video for you on how to connect with potential clients using the Fire Element.

We’ve had so many people tell us that when they really understood how to use the Fire Element in their Heartselling™ conversations with potential clients, it became easy to meet new people and all that nervousness went away.

Enjoy the video and please leave a comment below.

How to Position Yourself As An Expert

blog20140703titleB

Maybe you don’t yet feel like an authority… But you’ve heard that you need to figure out how to position yourself as an expert if you want to become more attractive to your potential clients.

Many people think that they have to wait until they have the level of expertise of their mentors to start positioning themselves as an expert. Or maybe you think you need to wait until you’ve written a book or worked with thousands of people.

If you take this route, you’ll be waiting a very long time. And you’ll be missing out on so many opportunities to serve people who really need your help.

We’ve seen many of our $10,000 Month Club Members take off in their business big time by changing one thing when they meet new people.

When they used just one of the tips in the video below on how to position yourself as an expert, people started responding to them differently. They got more respect, more clients and more referrals.

Watch the video now and then answer the questions below.

Now that you’ve watched the video, here is a short set of questions to ask yourself:

1. Which client success stories can you share that will have people see you as an
expert
who gets results?

2. If you’re new to the work you’re doing, what can you bring in from your past
that can give you a high level of positioning?

3. What can you be the “Creator of?” (Even if you don’t have ways to position
yourself as an expert using the first two tips, there IS something YOU can
be the “creator of.”)

Once you’ve figured out your best angle for positioning yourself, here’s an extra tip:
Make sure you always include humanity when you share your expertise (or you may seem arrogant). More about this in another post…

Tell us what you think in the comments below…

PS. Another bonus tip: Being an author of a book is huge for your positioning. And most people think it has to take a long time. But my friend and colleague, John Eggen, wants to share how you can write your book in as little as 90 days.

If you choose to position yourself as being the “Creator of” something and writing a book is in your future, I invite you to join me on an upcoming interview with John on how to "Write a Transformational, Client-Attracting Book Fast that Makes Up to $150,000 Before It's Published.”

On this live telephone interview, John will share strategies to get your book out there in a big way that were used by world-renowned business gurus he has worked with, including Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hansen, Robert G Allen, Ken Blanchard and Bob Proctor and the late Dr. Stephen Covey.

Tips For Providing Excellent Service To Your Clients

Tips-for-Providing-Excellent-Service-to-Your-clients

If you want to get paid well as a coach or holistic practitioner, there are a few things you can do to raise your fees and have clients happily pay more.

Whenever we introduce the experiential work we do around giving yourself a raise at the Client Attraction Summit, some participants look excited and others look fearful. Maybe they feel fearful because they believe that they must charge lower rates when the economy is down. But they don't understand that there are always people who are willing to pay more for better service. Simply put, they are happy to pay more when they get more value.

One of the first things to consider when you want to raise your fees is to raise the bar on how well you take care of your clients. This is why we're sharing some easy tips for providing excellent service to your clients in this video. You'll discover some easy things you can do right away to instantly transform the way your clients feel about their experience in working with you (which will make them rave about you to all of their friends).

You'll also hear a heart-wrenching story about our oldest son's first visit to the dentist.  The experience we had with his first dentist was horrific (if you're a parent, you'll understand).

Because of this negative experience, we had even more appreciation when our family became patients at Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry.  Our experience with Tina, her daughter, Dr. Ariana and the entire staff was incredible. They didn't miss one opportunity to make us feel comfortable and tended to important details most dental offices don't ever think of.  (I think Tina, Dr. Max and Dr. Ariana could give us a long list of tips for providing excellent service to your clients!)

While Tina, the Practice Manager, was our only client to ever be in dentistry, it was refreshing to take a look at a different industry than the holistic healing and coaching world. We discovered what it's like as clients to receive extraordinary service. And we understood on a new level why paying more isn't an issue when the service is over the top.

Watch this short video now and please share your insights in the comments below. Your insights will serve as additional tips for providing excellent service to your clients and can help others in the community raise the bar on their level of care for their clients.
